Supporting professionals

We can support and develop universal and specialist professionals through:

  • Training sessions with staff groups on various aspects of children’s mental health
  • Individual consultations with professionals about specific cases
  • Individual consultations about general Tier 2 mental health issues
  • Group consultations with professionals about specific cases or anonymous case discussion

What happens when you request Point-1 involvement?

Once your request has been screened and assessed, you will receive written confirmation of what we plan to offer.

You may be offered general information and training, though individual or group consultations, to work with the child or young person presenting mental health issues.

Once we have completed a specific piece of work, we will provide a written case-closure summary. This includes information about signposting and ongoing strategies for the child or young person, if appropriate.

Parenting programmes

Our evidence-based Incredible Years and Circle of Security parenting programmes are available throughout the year, in a range of accessible locations. There are opportunities for professionals to help us deliver these programmes. Please contact us for further information.
